The Great War Gallop
November 17th, 2018
Celebrate 100 years since it’s been over, over there.
Point Loma, San Diego, Cal.
You are cordially invited to an afternoon celebrating the victorious end of the Great War. Join us as we recreate a WWI canteen complete with doughboys, dancing, and donuts. Enjoy live period music in a hall that held dances for soldiers and was used for Red Cross sewing and knitting during WWI.
This event is open to dancers and non-dancers alike. We welcome all 1910s enthusiasts!
We are pleased to announce that the Heliotrope Ragtime Orchestra will delight us with their authentic 1910s music.
Period military or afternoon civilian attire of the 1910s is strongly recommended. Let’s make this one to remember and step back in time with style!
