Order this pattern by BUST SIZE, as the waist is adjustable with the drawstring.
Take your measurements on top of your period foundations you plan to wear this with, if applicable. Extra ease is not allowed for excess undergarments.

All patterns are in MISSES SIZING. All measurements are given in inches.
This pattern may require adjustments based on your figure, especially for the high collar versions, as the fit will depend greatly upon neck size and height, and position of the neck and shoulders.
A muslin mock up is highly recommended for all versions of this pattern, and should be done before starting insertion lace, embroidery, or other embellishment.
This blouse is shown in photographs with the upcoming Wearing History Cordelia skirt pattern, which may be purchased seperately. This blouse does not include a belt, skirt, or embellishment design or instruction.
A free photo tutorial for basic lace insertion by machine is available on my blog.

Not loving it
This pattern came and I was so excited to use it. However, The patterns on the envelope aren't included in the package. It says it's for creative license you can put the lace how you want.... It's just a basic bodice pattern, I have to do the decorative stuff myself. If I was able to design something myself I wouldn't have purchased a pattern .... For $16!! It's so annoying to be misled that buying this pattern will give you the Blouses on the front. Plus, it's confusing what pieces you need to cut out from what fabric. Totally just winging it and not happy about that. Patterns are to take the guess work out. Well patterns aside from this one!
5/5 stars from me!
I bought this blouse pattern to make to wear with my 1880’s skirt from my bustle dress. I made the 3/4 length sleeve version and I wanted to make a high collar from lace, but was unable to find any lace that worked, so I ended up making the high collar (non-pointy version) that comes with the pattern. I used a white cotton with eyelets in it, so I also made the liner. The sizing was accurate, the instructions easy to understand and it looks wonderful with my skirt. 5/5 stars from me!
