1910s Lace Insertion Dress and Drawstring Slip Pattern
A lovely 1910's inspired pattern by Hint of History pattern company.
This pattern is based on a photo of a dress from the early 1910s. It features lace-trimmed sleeves and waist, with a strip of lace inserted down the front of the skirt. The dress closes with a buttoned shoulder placket and two button straps at the left side waist, with the option of a side zipper if needed. The accompanying slip pattern goes on over the head, and has a drawstring at the waist to take in extra fullness.

Note from Wearing History: Hint of History makes historically inspired patterns for today. The patterns may include more modern methods of construction, which can help you make romantic fashions to wear that were inspired by the past. You can also adapt for historical wear if using a historical sewing book as reference for adapting fastenings, etc.
